In a conventional bunker during heavy rainfall the movement of water through the bunker causes the sand and sub-soil to mix, contaminating the sand, blocking the drainage and flooding the bunker. SportBond protects bunker sand from the contaminations which occur in ordinary bunkers. SportBond is a bonded mix of Polymers, Grit and Cement which form an incredibly strong porous base that allows water to flow freely to the drain.
