Hermitage Golf Course

“The brief at the Hermitage golf club was to eradicate problematic issues with their bunkers, such as, Internal drainage, persistent washouts, irrelevant bunker positions due to advances in technology, ease of access, downhill lies, style change.

We opted to design and install Irelands 1st fully sealed bunker system for 18 holes. The style of the bunker had to complement a traditional 100-year-old parkland and not dilute the strategy of the course.

Each bunker was hand crafted and site specific to its location and strategic purpose.

DAR Golf were instrumental in the execution of the intricate design during a very difficult winter, their high skill level and experience delivered the project on time and within budget.”
