Galway Racecourse

DAR Golf have been providing drainage services to Galway Racecourse since 2012. The drainage system plays a critical role in maintaining a consistent racing surface which helps to keep racing going and ensure the safety of both the horses and their riders.  Our most recent project with DAR Golf took place in 2021 and included various area of the racetrack that had become a cause for concern in the recent particularly wet winters. DAR Golf ability to offer a full turn key solution for drainage at the racecourse including the design and specification required to solve problem areas on the track makes them a pleasure to work with. The most recent work has seen the creation of new independent drainage on the track as well as areas that have been tied into the existing drainage installed by DAR Golf previously. We have seen significant improvements on the surface of the track since we starting using DAR Golf who are a highly professional organization that we would be happy to recommend to any racecourse.
