32 Month Contract at Castlebar Golf Club.
A new green and approach area was designed for this hole.
A couple of new tees were built.
A new green and approach complex was built beyond the location of the old green site.
New tees were built.
The fairway was shifted to the left.
Water features were built left and right of the approach to the the greens and the greenside traps were modified.
This par 3 hole was redesigned from Tee to green but did not include the tees or the green surface. The pond was enlarged and the fairway raised.
A complete new par 4 was designed and built to the right of the old hole. This required the removal of some trees in the landing area.
A new par 4 was created by removing a few trees, removing a small section of a stone wall and building new tees, green and fairway.
Another new par 4 was built by enhancing/enlarging an existing water feature and building new tees, fairway and green.
This is where the first of the new holes on the newly purchased land comes into play. The new par 3 required the construction of a new water feature, green and tees.
Also on the new land a long par 4 was designed and built.
On the last bit of new land a long par five was designed and built which incorporated the new water feature which was also part of the 12th hole.
A new par 5 was created by incorporating the old par 3, 12th tees and the old par 4, 13th green. Work was required to develop rough into fairway and remove some of the old tees on the old 13th hole.
